I'm rebuilding a 420 with a tachometer and was wondering if the drive cable is run threw the grommet in the gas tank support or how it is supported. I like to keep things original.
I understand the tachometer is different than the wheeled tractors is it because of the different ground speed?

No, tach cable clamps to the side of the gas tank support with a P clip.
