3315 winch on 1010 need help!

Ok just bought a 1010 and a 3315 winch and I want to marry them just not sure on the pto. I know they will bolt up. I got a power shaft with the winch and it has two couplers. I toke the lower rear cover of and there is already a shaft there but it looks like it would be to short to reach the winch with one of the short couplers. any body know what i need. thanks jason[/img]

ok talked to john deere today and they said I need a short shaft part# T16427 anyone now where I can find one and a pto cover plate thanks jay

anyone no what kind of oil supposed to be in a 3315 winch I would guess hydraulic but the oil i toke out looked like motor oil. thanks jason

Should be JD 303 hydraulic oil or a equivalent brand.

The filter housing on a 3315 wont work on a 1010 it hits the seat. I was thinking of relocating it or maybe even doing away with it any one ever do this?
