When I bought my 1970 350 stright crawer it had sands track know as wide tracks in NewMexico. I had the owner cut both sides equal an center to match the standard track.

My tracks have a 3 inch hole in the middle the dirt getting in the middle will wear the under cariage out faster , I never gave it any though. I have old pics show and tell under how to post pics .

Sean the more I run it it seem the hoes in the tracks keep the under carrage cleaner. Are the grouser bigger on snow tracks. Like I sad cut each side equal it worked good for me but I didn't do the cutting. Gerald
