JD MCs and 40 Find

Hi guys,
I have located a stash of 3 JD MCs and 1 40 mostly complete but nothing running. All have blades. They have been sitting out for years. Does $1000 per machine seem reasonable or way out of line? I was thinking probably 2 could be saved and 2 would be parts. Just wondering if this is something a person should jump on as they will be gone within a month or so.

Hard to tell without seeing them, but as a general rule, I think you logic is quite sound, and if you can afford it, I would get the deal done soon.
