Crawler Backhoe on eBay

Post by jac » Tue Mar 28, 2006 9:34 pm

Anyone know what model backhoe is on eBay? They have Model 820 listed but I do not think that is for the backhoe, possibly the loader on the 2010 that is also up for auction.

I'm guessing it is a 51. If it fits a 2010, it will fit a 1010.

Russ,

It is a 50 series backhoe, only difference between the two is that the 51 series has a mast to allow you to move the swing cylinder into 5 different locations across the mast width. And the stabilizers are different. It will fit a 1010 crawler; the attachment mounts on the back of a 440, 1010, 2010 and 350 (I think 450 also) all the same hitch points. Also a 93 and 94 series backhoe will fit on your 1010.

Also the dipper stick cylinder does not look to be the original cylinder

Thanks Tiny for the correction, I couldn't remember which was which, and couldn't find my parts book.

Lavoy,
Wasn't trying to dis-credit your knowledge, Some of us are anal on the certain models and I guess mine is the 1010 series and attachments, I just picked up a series 51 hoe from a member of the this web site and have now gotten quite failure with it.

You have a great web site here. I have enjoyed reading and responding to help persons in need. It is also great to read others problems and see the follow ups with other members to help them solve their issue.

Everyone should realize how strong this network is and it is growing daily, and how lucky they are to have someone to sponsor this.

You seem to have the GetR'Done, Unleashed energy person.

Hi,

We had a 440 ICD wheel tractor with loader and mod 51 hoe way back when. I'm sorry it ever left. The 51 was rather more useful than the standard hoe, with that ability to move the boom to the side like that. ;)

Tiny,
No problem, I made a mistake, and that needs to be corrected. I did not have the time to find the book to double check, but should have. I knew it was the 50 or 51, but with CRS, couldn't remember which.

Crawler backhoe on Ebay

Tiny, I hope you meant to say that you were getting 'familiar' with the 51 back hoe and not 'failure' with it. And also, for your info. it took me awhile to decipher the CRS situation that Lavoy alluded to. My wife had it down quick...duh not me. I'll remember it now!!

CRS happens just before you come down with the C-nile Virus. I think. They say when you get old three things happen, the first is you lose your mind and I can't remember what the other two are.
