Clutch is out of housing

To say that the clutch assy is a little tight to get out may be an understatment. When they enginnered the clutch drum to fit into the throwout bearing they left zero room for error . I was impreesed and a little bit frustrated till with help from my nighbor Paul we were able to get a straight pull on it to get out ,also I used Pamarks idea to mark the throwout bearing shaft, and popped it up to make more room to get the drum assy out i did take photos to back up what i did. Well after work tommorrow i will dig into the clutch assy. Oh yes the clutch shaft came out easy after lubing it up with Kroil penatrant with a 7/16th all thread for my puller it pulled out with no hassle Have a productive and safe week to all . I am glad you got the beast out. When you are ready to assemble, make a sling similar to what I did and use a block n tackle to help with the lifting. So often you have to jiggle it hear and there to get the splines to line up on the shafts.

Before you drop the clutch back in the hole. make sure you reinstall both drive shaft and outside final gear shaft into the clutch plates to line them up. You might have to lossen the clutch plates to allow them to slide sideways. After the two shafts mesh with the inside nipple, then tighten the plates up. Failure to do this will make it impossible to install the shafts at the end. I yanked my #$##$# clutch several times until I figured that one out.
