2010 transmission problems

Hey just had a guy check out my 1960-65 jd 2010. He tells me that the pressures are low in my transmission and that it needs to be rebuilt. Also added it cost around 5000 to 7000 bucks to do it. Can anyone tell me if there is any other thing i can do to get the thing working right? Maybe switch the HLR transmission for a manual. Let me know thanks.
