Just traded with a buddy and acquired a 1964 JD 1010 crawler loader. It's been sitting for almost ten years. I managed to get her started, but it has no oil pressure. Idiot light comes on, and the gauge reads zero. I took the gauge line off of the block, and tried it again, nothing squirted out (not running it for more than a few seconds). Shut ti down immediately. Dipstick shows lots of oil, looks healthy. Filter looked okay, not gunked up. I am guessing the oil pump took a dump.
Any suggestions of maybe something I overlooked, or is the pump?

Sitting that long it might be full of water also. You can't tell by how it looks. Drop the drain plug and see what comes out. If it's water...
I had this on a D-4 once. Running it at all fries the bearings.![Evil or Very Mad ](./images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)
