That would work better because the cylinder will be protected. Did you use a pin in the center for it to rotate? What did you use for hydraulics Thanks

I had a thread going called "My 6 way blade". I have had no luck with the search feature here. Perhaps one of the other posters can ellaborate on the location of the thread?

The pictures weren't wanting to load for me though. Not sure if it's my internet of if you need to rehost them.

Factory dozer

Post by JWB Contracting » Fri Jul 20, 2012 7:46 pm

It would be a real shame if you cut up a factory dozer, an original Dozer in good shape is hard to find.

I would build one from scratch and either keep your factory Dozer or sell it to pay for the new tilter unit.

The one shown in the picture looks heavy enough to me, you'll want to keep the weight down if possible.

There was one other thread. It would have shown the construction photos.

I went through the links above and reposted the lost urls.

The location of the photos are at.....

Otherwise go to Photobucket.com and search for user Downeasta. The pictures are in the directory tractor, sub directory 420c

I think you'll find all that extra weight hanging off the front end makes your 40c very tippy. I don't even like the #76 blade on my 40c and it is lighter than what a 6-way setup would weigh.
