plow for a mc1000 tool carrier

Post by dnkcozmo » Fri Aug 03, 2012 7:21 pm

i have a m2 plow that i use with my john deere m is it true that this plow will work with a mc1000 tool carrier? also is there anything special that you need to do to mount the tool carrier backwords? Also i can not find a lot of info about the tool carriers. is it true that there were 16 attachments that you could get to fit these tool carriers? if this is true what else were there besides a blade, harrow, and plow?

Brush rake, disk furrower, vineyard plow, corrugators, transplanter, border maker, lister, chisel cultivator, ditcher, panbreaker, springtooth cultivator and I'm probably missing some To change te tool bar around you only need to pull 2 pins on each side with your blade in the air then let the blade down back out turn around and back into it run your hyd. arms to the other end hook up the arms to them then lift the tool bar into the notch put the pins back in and ready to go.

They are hard to come by at best, impossible at the worst. I have only ever seen maybe 5 of them. One model number would be MC2, the other I think MC2A for the two bottom, but would have to find a book to verify.
