6 volt or 12 Volt Battery?

Sorry, I posted over on on the 350 or newer board. so I re posted it here.


Guys, I have a guy in PA that is going to pick up my 420C in New York and it does not have a battery in it. Is it 6 volt or 12? i do not see an alt. on it. And am I to assume it is pos ground? I need to get it started to raise the bucket to winch it on the trailer. Apparently,l it won't crawl up on a trailer by itself.

P.S. Anybody near by Dansville, New York want to pick it up for me? I need to get it out of this lady's drive? The guy I have can't do it for another week and a half? If anybody is close give me a call. Dave Brown 402-670-8572 or 402-533-2969.

From the factory, they are 6 volt, positive ground.
