Snow Dozing
Here in West Michigan we have been dumped on by tons of snow! From -5 to 41 deg has made quite a mess of close to 2' of snow! Put 15 hrs on this 440IC clearing out neighbors drives and my own. Only challenge was the 6V battery just didn't have it. 8 yrs old. Only thing I would have liked was a cab on her! More snow next week!

Duke--Why don't you make a light pipe frame cage and adhere some plexiglass? Quick-cheap-ugly-better than nothing. gregjo1948

Man, send it here, we have had almost a 60 degree swing here, mid to upper 30's and sunny today, snow has really gone to hell, snowmobiling is almost ruined.

Hear ya on the darned Lake Affect We get heavy lake effect off lake Huron and she isn't froze over either Last week we had 14 to 16 foot banks on Highway # 21 along the lake when that storm came along It was closed for two extra days so the two blowers ( a pair of 600 Quad tracks with Kt 1150's hung on the back for blower power ) they took several passes each to punch a hole in the mess That road is known as the worst winter road in Canada just for that reason .But tis the season!!.Digitup.
Gee thanks guys, 1-2" predicted here tonight, WOOHOO!
Can you give some more info on the blowers, not familiar with that brand.

Hi,
I dragged an old car out of scrubby along the river for a neighbor a couple weeks ago. The car is a leftover from a previous landowner. Looks like it got stuck in the mud long ago, and stuff grew up and buried it further.
They were cleaning the scrub back, found the car, and tried yanking it loose with a 60 HP tractor. But, too much rain and tractor tires were not working. They came to see if I would go over with my tractor and double pull, but I went with the crawler instead.,
Hooked up the chain, put the old girl in first, and just walked the car out dragging a brush pile along with it. It is not about the horsepower.....

Yup, I would agree with that. I have pulled my Class 6 grain truck out of a mud bog with my 2010 crawler (approx. 50 HP). The grain truck is 26,000 pounds GVW that weighs around 10,000 pounds empty. I have picked up the ends of 1/2 ton pickups and drug them around with it, no problem.Stan Disbrow wrote: Hooked up the chain, put the old girl in first, and just walked the car out dragging a brush pile along with it.
