420 ring and pinion

I tore the ring gear loose from the hub recently and as I have been working on it I was wondering if I'm to hard on the machine or was it just time for it to go? Every bolt hole in the hub is broke out. All I done was put in in reverse to back up and it made a crunch noise and it was done.

Depending on serial number, there were some changes to the carrier I believe. I have had several with the ring welded to the carrier. I have also torn some down that had the bolts loose, and the dowels hammered a little bit. When you put it back together, make sure the dowels are tight, and Loctite them in, as well as the bolts.
