Hi all.
I have an early model 2010 dozer with RHL transmission. It is strong pushing dirt in forward gears, but is very weak when in reverse, to the point where it can't even drag the blade to level the ground. It feels like the clutch tries to engage momentarily, but then let's go and the crawler just stops moving. It can't go up the 10-15 degree hill in reverse either.
Has any body experienced similar issue in the past and was able to fix it?
2010 weak in reverse - clutch issue?
yes i had to rebuild the HLR clutch packs ... you might check the (HLR/floor) shift lever adjustment and then do the pressure checks as per the book .... the only other time i had reverse problem the reverse idler/ counter shaft twisted in two but then it wont move at all in reverse
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper
