2010 steering clutch rebuild

Post by vailvalley59 » Mon Aug 25, 2014 6:20 pm

I have removed steering clutch and I have a question. The snap ring that is expanded by the three pins on the inner shaft--is that ring one with a square cross section? The ring that came out has a round cross section. I can not tell in the book if the ring is round or square. Is that ring available? I could not pull it up from the number in the parts book. Thanks

here are some pics of the brake band locating pin for the 2010 steering clutch/brake not very hard to make it takes a 7/8-18... or it could be 7/8-14 (kinda hard to tell with only about 4 threads on the plug) oil pan plug and a 3/8-16 x 1 3/4" bolt (has to be full thread) ...grind the end to 1/4" x about 3/8 to 1/2" ...use washers as needed to adjust per bookImage
