MC undercarriage swap

Post by MountainHighMC » Sun Sep 07, 2014 8:48 pm

Hey guy's I've got a working MC, and a 4 roller 40 for parts.
The 40 has a Gearmatic twin cylinder angle dozer on it that I would prefer vs the inside mount straight blade on the MC. Also the three roller is quite the rocking horse, I figure the four roller would be more desirable.
Any suggestions on doing the swap or not would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Bradley

Which way are you going to do the swap? It might be easier to use the MC parts on the 40. gregjo 1948

Will work fine, you will need to use the complete undercarriage from the 40 including tracks, excluding sprockets.

Thanks for the replies boy's
I was hoping to use the four roller under the MC
Hey Lavoy, the sprockets are the same then?
I was thinking that I should be able to remove the tracks, crossbar clamps and hydraulic paraphernalia.
Pretty straight forward I figure.
