Hydraulic disconnect on a 1010

Post by T.Banttari » Mon Oct 20, 2014 8:34 pm

I'm looking for a parts diagram or pic of the lever assembly used on the front of the engine for connecting/ disconnecting the hydraulic pump that powers the 6 way blade. My movable sleeves on the crankshaft front drive had been welded together prior to my disassembly. It looks like there should be a lever and a fork that would get attached to linkage for manual engagement of the hyd. pump. Thanks.

Unless you want to put it back to original, why do you want the disengagement? It will turn over a little easier when starting but, I don't know if that's enough reason to do all the work to install it. I don't believe all the 1010s had it anyhow. I will look in my parts manual to see if it shows the parts and maybe I can send an email with a picture. gregjo1948

Hyd.Disconnect

Post by T.Banttari » Tue Oct 21, 2014 7:36 am

I am just wrapping up the rebuild of the 115 gasser and I still have that area left to assemble; I prefer not to have to weld the cog or engagement sections back together for continous drive of the pump. I couldn't find any listing of the parts, nor a diagram in my manual. Thx.

If you send me your email address, I'll try to send you a diagram with part numbers from my manual. gregjo1948@yahoo.com

The 1964 1010 Im working on has a lever on the left side of the pump to kick it out. I can take a picture if that would help.
