Thank you I do not have a book for the loader--would you have the JD number of this filter and do you think it would fit all the loaders on 2010s? I have not pulled the old one--it might have a number on it--I was trying to get the new one first. thanks

FYI, there are actually two "filters" within the loader hydraulic reservoir- a large inlet element and a smaller outlet element. The small outlet element one mounts to the large inlet element. JT listed the large inlet element; the outlet element is AU 11215 U. The O-rings JT listed are actually for the outlet element.

Oftentimes the outlet element can be reused but you should inspect, and I am not sure the availability of it as when I bought it was many moons ago.

Also when you buy the parts you will need to take the elements apart from the filter "handle" (the u-shaped base that mounts to the reservoir). They are NLA from Deere and when I busted mine I had to search parts yards to get another one.

HI Tiger i did not want to confuse the issue with the smaller filter as it is a steel mesh screen and should NOT be a problem (should just need a good cleaning) and the are very expensive if they are even available any longer..... i would replace all the o-rings while i was in there (since you have to take the whole thing apart any way)... Do i dare ask how in the (H e double hockey sticks) did you ever break the filter "handle"? :o :o

I agree the outlet element usually can be reused; in my case the reservoir had a lot of water in it and the outlet element corroded so I went ahead an replaced it. However your point is well taken that it is not a micronic filter like the large inlet filter.

As for breaking the filter handle, it is pretty embarrassing but I was sawing one of the large hardwood trees at my property and had the crawler parked a little too close to the fall zone; one of the large branches hit the handle and cracked it at the base to where it wouldn't seal under pressure so had to find a new one
