John Deere 430W with a 430C Centerframe?

Post by sleepyhollow » Mon Dec 01, 2014 6:37 pm

Hi, a question for the JD 430 owners, I am looking at buying a John Deere 430W. The center frame looks like it came from a 430 crawler as it has a brake pedal on the right hand side along with the two normal brake pedals. Were these center frames interchangeable and if so is it difficult to find parts to remove the crawler brake so it looks correct? The center frame part number is AM3333T. Thanks for any help.

You might make that center frame work but you will never make it look like a 430c.The 430c had two seperate parts to connect the engine to
the transmission. The parts you are looking at is one part and the clutch linkage is internal.I own a 430T and four 430Cs and there are some parts that are interchangeable but not the parts you are looking at.

Hi,

I had a 430w and the center frame was completely different from my 420c.

But then, the 430w was live PTO (integrated bell housing and center frame) and the 420c has a reverser (separate bell housing and center frame is the reverser housing)....
