The tracks/links on my 420 are pretty much gone. I have read here that 350 tracks will adapt if I use 350 sprockets and mate the center of the 420 sprocket to a 350 sprocket to get the correct bolt pattern and offset.
Will the 420 idlers and rollers work with the 350 track and is there any other known issues I would run into? Are there any other mods needed to adapt 350 tracks? I plan on keeping this crawler and using it in my woodlot for a long time so as well as rebuilding my final drives I will spend for a good set of tracks.
Thanks everyone for your input. I am a good mechanic but there is no replacing the experience that is available on this forum.

Hi,
The difference is 350 rails have fatter pins and bushings. The rest is the same. But, you do need the 350 rim sprocket teeth to match the fatter bushings.
If you get just chains, then you will find you need new pads. 4 bolt vs 2 bolt.
