Looks like plenty of adjustment left on the tracks. What is the front attachment? Looks like a brush ripper. Does the winch work? gregjo1948

Early crawlers are just a piece of heavy expanded mesh, late crawlers have a flat steel plate similar to what you have.

Sooo....I also got the Original operators manual for the crawler, it is a 1958 SN 441146 and the instruction manual for the 8A winch, very happy. What I have read the early ones have the small transmission. Is this an issue? It has been sitting for two years without any use, should I change All the fluids and filters? Another question for you cold climate guys, as it will be going to my place on the east side where it was 3deg f last weekend, any tips or tricks? Thanks for your time.....

I haven't read of any small transmissions issues on here.
As for cold weather, since you're a gas make sure you have a good battery and she's tuned up properly and I think you'll be fine. Lots of guys on here don't have issues when it's cold.
If you really wanted, you could buy a dipstick heater or some stick-on heaters for the oil pan. That might help get a little warmth in the engine and make it easier.

I have a way to put a block heater in if you want, works great.
