2010 TRACK ADJUSTMENT

Post by ironyetty » Mon Aug 14, 2006 5:34 pm

I am trying to adjust the tracks on my jd 2010. I have the hydraulic type adjusters. I took the adjust bolt out that is located next to the grease fitting and even took the grease fitting out to make sure there was grease in the cylinder. but when I try and move or push the idler back it won't move. Am I missing a possible set screw or something else holding the idler from moving?

Thanks in advance!!

The bolt you removed from beside the grease fitting is a pressure relief valve. Be sure and not loose the little ball bearing under it.

There isn't anything mechanical to keep your tensioner from retracting. Either it is already all the way back, or it is frozen by rust and packed in dirt.
