General track roller lubrication FAQ
On John Deere crawlers that are getting older, John Deere Corn Head grease is a good lubricant for the track rollers. It is fairly light and won't squeeze away from the bearing surfaces like tackier greases do. If the rollers on your crawler still have good seals, then continue to use the specified oil instead.
