Post by tween » Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:17 am

I have what was supose to be a JD 350 c, they said it was a 1967 but it can't be from what I can see becaus there was no C in 1967, I have a serial number I think is (Serial #4FIC021928), can any one verify the year.
thanks tween

The confusion probably came about because the ID sequence on the serial number data plate (before the actual serial number) probably indicates "350C" which stands for a 350 crawler rather than a 350C crawler. This is a common misunderstanding which sellers sometimes use to their advantage. There are a number of key differences between the "C" and the earlier models to differentiate, the biggest being the wet clutch systems in a "C".
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
