450? Serial numbers

Hi everyone, Just got my new toy! I thinK it's a 450, don't know what year. Does anyone have a book to check model and year by seral number? It sure would be a big help. It's a loader with backhoe. Thanks in advance, Brian

Most of the information on the board is related to Lindeman through JD 2010 crawlers.

Found the plate on the engine, it reads SN M 53TE018636 hopefully it will help some. BTW plate under seat is missing, just found the rivits. Thanks, Brian

The serial numbers for the 450 crawlers are as follows 10001 to 16159-1965, to 42766-1966,to 64999-1967,to 82275-1968,up to 102143-1969, the last 450 produced in 1970 was 117587 after this 450.Bs in Sept 20th 1970 production record. Digitup.
