Need help finding exact year?

Post by cumminsz28 » Tue May 21, 2013 10:14 am

Hey yall, as you can see im new to the forum. I inherited John Deere bulldozer. I have tried to look up the serial number and model number. I cant find any information on it anywhere. Id like to find the exact year so I can get a manuel for it. On the serial tag it says T4F3D (type) 074056T (serial). Help would be greatly appreciated!

i was thinking 2010/450 HLR ....on 350 i believe it would be a reverser

...can you go from forward to reverse with out using the "clutch"? if so you have a reverser

Yes I believe it does have reverser, but I still do use the clutch ha. Do y'all know if there's anyway to make adjustments to the transmission without removing it from the unit itself? One day sit seemed like it had no power going forward, now won't move forward and made a grinding noise. But the doze moves fine in reverse?

some adjustments can be made BUT (you HAVE ordered a book by now?) ....you need to read up on the adjustments before you get started

No I havent bought a book yet, i needed to find out exactly what year it was before i went anywhere with it. I just wanted to make sure that it was able to make adjustments or to see if it was just a lost cause. Now im just searching for books that arent going to break the bank. haha
