1010 Parts
Anybody looking for 1010 parts? I bought this thing and found out the engine was shot, all hydraulic hoses are shot, and I know for sure that one steering clutch is stuck disengaged. I should just part out the whole dozer, but I might have to much invested at this point to get out from under it. So I decided at this point I would like to see if anyone would be interested in any of the diesel engine parts. The sleeve deck is shot, crank needs to be turned probably .010. The head has got valve seat damage from water. I was told the injection pump was just overhauled due to it leaking fuel into the crankcase. If the stamp on the side is the date it was done, it looks like it was done in November of '07. I checked the glow plugs with an ohmmeter and they were all 1 to 2 ohms, so I believe they are good. This machine also has the cold start primer and I stroked it and it squirts fuel. I would need to get $400 to $500 total for any or all of the parts since that is what they tell me a core is worth to get a different engine. I thought I would put it out to all of you before I decided to sacrifice it to a salvage yard. If anyone is interested let me know, if not, thats cool to. Shoot me an offer. Thanks.

I guess let us know if there are more parts than just the engine you are considering parting out.
Also, what part of SD are you in?

parts
Sorry I have been gone a while, family and funerals, plus packing to move. Tommyboy, I checked and the line you are looking for has been replaced with a rubber hose and changed over like Lavoy was talking about. As far a track rollers, I am not going to part with any of that yet. I am going to check out the reverser before I proceed with rebuilding this hog. If the reverser has issues than the whole damn thing can find a new home whether it is complete or in parts is up for discussing yet. Sorry I cant be of more help right now. I will definately get a post up if this thing has to go. I have got it moved back home and am in the process of moving the rest of my stuff. The tragic thing is I paid a lot for this thing cuz the undercarriage is in great shape and it has a 6-way model 612 blade. It just might need to much work ($$$) to be worth it. The dozer is located 25 miles east of the Missouri river and 40 miles south of the North Dakota line. Thanks to all who may be interested, keep your eyes open in the next month or two for updates on good or bad progress.

1010 parts
1010crazy, I would sell these parts, but I have to find them in my stash of goodies since I just moved. I need to clarify that the serial number of my dozer is 29803. The injectors are different for 31000 and newer, according to my parts book. Let me know if your still interested. What part of minnesota are you in?
