hi ralph, the next question is,,, what happened to bobs tractors? are they closing up? or selling off their "junk".(not junk to us)
it will be interesting how the bid goes,, probably high bidder will have choice,, or individually auctioned?
anyone plan to attend?

Jeff Polk bought most of the Bob Smythe collection in Portland Oregon last year and hauled them to Ind. He had over 100 of them under roof in May of 2010. I bought a Bo handstart, and a BO electric start. On his Labor Day sale , he sold a couple of the rarest, and a few others. These 40 are probably some of the last. Don't know if Jeff got all of them when he and McGrew split, or just part of them. Will probably go to the sale to see if I can get a cheap parts crawler.

Last I talked to Jeff, there were only 25 of Bob's Lindeman's left give or take.

i did go to this auction to look at a well broke in 640 ford with elenco FWA, that got to 7000 and was no saled. the lindemans went 4500 to 5500, anything less than 4000 was no sale. there was a low houred 1010 ca gas, no 3pt, super good, 18000 i belive. a 420 4 roller with no 61 blade had lots done to it for 7800, a fairly complete 1010 loader parts tractor for 1300.
a good auction
