Air filter housing for a 450 Crawler

I need a different air filter housing mine on my 450 is rusted out will the air filter house off the 450b and c's work I have a diesel year 1965 is there any salvage yards that may have one

The part number for the air cleaner assembly is AT21533 for a 450 diesel. A part number search at JDparts.com shows that part number shows as only used on the straight 450, not even other equipment besides crawlers. A different assembly was used on the 450Bs and after.

Without physically trying others it is hard to say if you might make something else fit. Lavoy may have some places to check if you contact him. You can try Wengers in PA and PartsASAP, they are couple salvage yards and there are others. I find it is often best to call and talk to someone at those places, not just go by what you see on their websites, not every used part available gets listed.
