Decent looking 440 diesel dozer for sale on NYC craigslist. Fresh paint hiding who knows what but very complete start for not alot of money.

I think that is the late version of the throttle. Four bolt shoes.
No trees were hurt in the creation of this message.
But, many electrons were terribly bothered.

Yes tracks look tight and no reverser...at least one that works. I'm typically surprised when I read about you guys who have working reversers. I've bought 1 running and 3 parts machines and only 1 had a complete reverser which might work. I've know of several 420's where they did not work. Seems poor operators ruin them.

That center throttle is cool...wish I had that. Looks like it was a Pilot Touch crawler originally with the hole in the dash.

Too little information to know much about it but I wish my 440 had looked that good when I bought it.

I would buy that thing in a heart beat. I paid that much for my JD440IC and it doesn't look bad but yours is in way better shape. If it is painted and seat in good condition they must have taken care of it. I am replacing worn out parts left and right but it runs great not sure how but they can take a lot of abuse.
