Looking for a 6 way blade for a JD 450
Looking for a 6 way blade for a JD 450
I own a John Deere 450 crawler, and I am looking for a 6 way blade for the machine. Presently, it has a heavy push blade which I am going to remove and sell or trade?. I live in NYS. Thanks.

Vander Haags in Spencer, Iowa has one. They are trying to sell it on EBay by the piece. There are pics, search 1978 450c cylinder. Super $$$ as Vander Haags always is, but the blade look In good nick.
Best regards, Bruce

I need a couple myself, one for a 450E widepad and one for a 450 narrow pad. I cleaned out a Kalispell Montana wrecker of all his stock in April. Doesn’t sound like they plan on buying any more older dozers for wrecking so might have to drive a bit further to find them. I found some in Washington state but they were pricy and not very good condition.
Still have 3 450’s on deck plus lots of other projects so haven’t gotten back to aggressively finding them. Been hoping to find some complete machine for wrecking...

Bill Redding? I bought on from him ~1year ago and had it shipped.

where is he located and how much did it cost you?
Re: Looking for a 6 way blade for a JD 450
I believe he is the wrecker in Kalispell JWB was referring to earlier in this thread. I paid $1,500. Every bushing was worn out, center pin was super loose and there were no lift cylinders.

I cleaned Reddig out of all their 350 and 450 Dozer assemblies. They were in reasonable condition. I have a standing order for more.
