Looking for a backhoe attachment my 450

Post by Micahb02 » Fri May 22, 2020 10:33 am

I'm currently looking for a backhoe for my 65' 450. Was wondering if anybody out there might have one or know where one might be for sale? I'm in TX, let me know what's out there, I have been searching the web and they are few and far between so far. Thanks

I will admit, it's a 65' model and have no mounts or anything currently on it so I'm not even 100% if its even possible to hook one up. But I could really use one if it is possible.

Only way that will work then is to purchase a donor crawler and remove all the mounts, all of their tie in structure, all of the hoe plumbing, and the hydraulic pump.

How steady of work do you have for a backhoe? You might be money ahead to plan your work and rent a mini hoe for a week end or two. Using a rental will keep your loader ready to move material out of the way without folding everything up to move a bucket or two of material. That also will prevent putting the strain a hoe can put on the crawler final drives as well.

I have a 93 series hoe attachment. I have all the mounts but not 100%sure the mounts on my C will work on a straight older 450. Dipperstick rod is pitted and bucket needs WELDING
