440ICD Crawler/Loader For Sale

I reluctantly need to part with this very useful workhorse. I've used it for several years fixing up some properties here in Spring Green, WI. The last time I used it a hose for the loader started leaking and the reverser suddenly quit. (It is now constantly in the reverse mode.) The linkage appears to be loose and it did not make weird noises as it quit... therefore I hope it is just a simple fix, but I can't promise you anything. It has always started easily, but has a nickname of "Old Smokey" while running. In cold weather I just plug in the heater for awhile and give her a shot of ether while cranking. I am asking $4000, but will entertain all reasonable offers. There is a local antique tractor dealer here who could transport it to you for a fee. I can send you some pics if you request them.
