FOR SALE 440 crawler loader in NY

I was at a shop yesterday to pick up a ripper tooth for my mini excavator.I asked the salesman if he had any old junk for sale or coming in.He said not really,just an old JD 440 crawler loader.I laughed to myself as he called the guy who owned it.All that I got from this conversation was that it had a nice undercarriage and he wanted $3500.My nice and other peoples nice seem to be alot different lately I have not seen it or talked to the guy.If there is any interest,let me know and I will pass on the phone number.Machine is located in Troy NY.Who knows,It could be one of you guys??

Yeah. My 'good' and other folks 'good' are different as well as your 'nice'.

I've come to the conclusion that 'U/C 50%' means that the grouser height on the pads is half of what it was when new. Also, 'new U/C' means that someone has welded repair strips to the grousers!
