Looking for help with a 440 dozer

Post by In to deep » Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:47 am

I bought my first dozer this summer. Very exicted to get it, but this is what I found. The gentelmen that I purchased the dozer from had tighten up the tracks so tight that there was no play in them what so ever. Being a rookie dozer owner I though no big deal, and I would just fix it. Now this is were I need assistace. I pulled the right side down to repair it, and opened up a big can of worms! Looking for the following parts, or ideas of what can be still used. No ID tag so the best I can tell you is its a 440 industrial crawler S/N# 448001-up.
1) Right side final drive case (it is at the welders right now, don't know if it will work.
2) Axle shaft
3) Bearnings for the final drive
4) Bottom rollors all 5 have bad bushing/seals
5) Upper idler bracket/mount
6) Seals and bushing for the front idler
7) Axle retainer
8) Possible rear spocket
9) Possible track rails
I will need other parts but this is a good start.

I think I have everything you mentioned on hand with the possible exception of the case depending on serial number. Send me an e-mail with what you need, and I can get back to you with what I have.
