Hi,

A few questions about it:

Does it have a manual blade or a PAT blade or a loader or is it a bare crawler? Does it have anything on the rear like a winch or 3-pt hitch? Finally, where is it located?

Later!

Stan

its a manual blade side to side, i forgot the number of the blade but i think they call it a 602, it attaches to the outside of the tracks. i have a spare 2-53, a spare blade, and a bunch of other misc. stuff from a parts crawler..
Were located in Park Rapids Minnesota.

When the ad was first listed I went to my source, http://www.melissadata.com/keywordsearch/areacode.htm and found that the number listed 218-689-xxxx was a cell phone out of Thief River Falls, MN and figured it was too far to consider hauling to Texas. That cleared my interest in a hurry.

Hi,

Hmmm. Hadn't thought about that. Personally, I want to use stuff, not tear it down and sell it off.

I'd love to have a 64 blade on my 420c instead of the 62, but know it won't work of course. A 440 with a 64 would fit the bill. I'd also love to have a scarifier on the back, and a 3-pt makes that pretty easy. There are other ways of adding one to a 440 that don't work well on the 420 with the lighter finals.

I've been looking at JD450's as of late. Not too many 440's around any more, so I thought I'd ask. In reality, it's too far for me to go get it even if it happend to have a 64 on it.

There is a 440 with 64 here in NC on eBay, but one would really have to consider that one as a total restoration project, I think. This one sounds like it's almost ready to go to work again. :)

Later!
