40 crawler too expensive

just aquired 40 crawler fairly straight has no finals or sprockets is it too pricey to restore? James
like playing with trucks& tractors in the dirt

Unless there is something really special or unique about it, I might look for another 40, and use that one for a donor. If the rest of the crawler is very good, and you are happy with what it is/will be, then go for it.

Lavoy thanks for the reply, I was fairly sure it would be too much. I'm knowledgeable on newer stuff and don't know why I want to work on an old tractor for intertainment so I'll park this one in the back row and keep looking haven't seen any other JD in this area James
