How could everyone miss the fact that this 420 C is a one of a kind? It has that highly sought after option called a "5 Spreeed transmission". I think this one is the faster 5 speed, it is 1 of 1. That is as rare as it gets.

I have a rule about the value of anything, including these collectable "toys". As long as it is not my money, I could care less what one brings.
The true barometer as to what something is worth is what it sells for. If it brings XXXX, then somebody, for whatever reason, thought it must have been worth that.
Sellers typically refer to the highest price they have ever seen one bring when they are selling, but then they revert to the lowest price on the exact same unit has ever brought when they are buying.
Funny little game, isn't it?
Most of us would love to find a low hour, excellent condition original and buy it from a little old widow lady that was glad to "get rid of it." That trick has been pulled so many times.
I truly wish him the best in selling it and I can assure him of one person that will not be writing the check his is wanting.
