JD1010 crawler diesel dozer w 6way blade for sale $3k

Post by JDforlife » Sun Jun 27, 2010 7:08 am

Hello all

I've replaced my project 1962 jd1010 with a 550a, needed more power.

The diesel runs good with minimal smoke. The 6way blade and hydraulics worked well.

It has a new JD factory hydraulic pump with about 100 hours on it. The tranny and reverser worked well.

The finals are out and dismantled. I was in the process of rebuilding it with new timken bearings, sleeves, seals, etc.

It comes with a 16' equipment trailer with brand new heavy duty trailer tires. It has hydraulic brakes and a pintle hitch. The brakes are junk and probably should be upgraded to electric, but is still towable, I used my F350 to tow the whole setup with no problems.

I have several pics, just pm me.

The dozer is located on my property near Nevada City, ca 95959.

Asking $3,000 with the trailer and all the new bearings, shafts, etc.

Thanks

It's still for sale, very soon it'll be going to the metal scrap yard to get it off my property.

That is exactly what I'm looking for. Right size and the price is right.

BUT you're a little far away from me, like 2500 miles! I wish you could mail it to me (I suppose you could a piece at a time! LOL!).

If you can't sell it, hopefully you can find a crawler boneyard nearby that will buy it for parting out rather than scrap.

I tried to send a PM about this, not sure if my messaging is working right.

Do you still have that 1010, or did you scrap it?

I live in the area and would like to look at it.
