440 for sale

Post by SuffieldGuy » Fri Jul 23, 2010 12:55 pm

I just got a 440 dozer for a farmer who was going to scrap it. It runs, main clutch is frozen but steering clutchs are free. tracks need pins and bushings. small hole in the exaust maniflod but I will weld this weekend. I got one side off the ground and the rollers roll. I don't need another project but could not let is nice looking machine go to the crusher. sheet metal is great. anyone need parts or a whole machine. The dozer is in Suffield CT 06093. let me know what you need. if anyone has pins and bushings let me know.

Thanks Shawn

How much for the whole machine. I need something inexpensive that doesn't need a lot of work. How hard is it to change the clutch? I have a 10K# lift and an engine hoist that will make it much easier to work on it.

What blade does it have on it (manal or hydraulic 6 way?)?

Can you email me pictures of it? john0532000@yahoo.com

If you would, can you include your phone number in the email so I can call you?

Sincerely,

John
