Parting out my 440ICD ( offer ended )

Post by Mark Birdeau » Tue Oct 12, 2010 5:15 pm

I'm going to part out my tractor or will consider selling it complete. The reason for getting rid of it is that the transmission is bad. It is presently partially tore down from the front to the transmission and the transmission is apart. It is a 1959 model, serial 451xxx. It has a 6 way blade with 4 way hydraulics. Manual angle.

I do have a tractor with a loader and another crawler to assist in loading if need be.

I'm located in Catawba, WI. 54515

Thanks; Mark:

( edit ) Not enough interest so I won't be parting it out.

No interest in fixing?

I know a guy that you could prob. get an input shaft from.
I have a spare but I would like to keep it just in case something ever happened

I tried for over a year to find a shaft with no luck so I said to heck with it. I had tried here and over 100 salvage yards the only thing I could get were complete transmissions. With the cost of a transmission and shipping it was way more then I was willing to spend for the little work I get for it.

Wow thats kind of surprising.
Give this guy a try if you want. He's very reasonably priced. I bought a gear off of him for my tranny so he obviously has one torn completely apart.

Thanks for the contact info but I think at this point I'm no longer interested in repairing it.
