420 crawler fresh in for parts

Post by Lavoy » Sat Jul 14, 2012 2:14 pm

Just got in a 420 crawler for parts. Several of you have been asking for some parts I was out of, but now I have them in stock.
The crawler is a 1957 5 roller, 5 speed crawler. Appears to have 10 recent rollers under it, so I now have rollers in stock again. Crawler has excellent fenders, and new repro battery sheetmetal on it. Hood is good, grille is junk.
10" track pads on decent rails, but pins and bushings worn. Engine runs good, will be out of the crawler by next week.
I also got a set of counterweight brackets and a full weight set, I know someone had contacted me about weights in the past, but I was out.
Anything you need, call or e-mail, and I will check on it.

Got the crawler mostly down last night.
All 10 bottom rollers have been replaced and are like new. Sprockets are decent, no where near new, but would run a long time. Front idlers, brackets and springs are good, bushings and shafts appear to be worn. Final cases are good, and are the later style case with the bump on the pinion shaft area.
Battery sheetmetal is new, and recently installed. Has new seat cushions, seat frame is pretty good, base is perfect, slide is garbage.
Thanks for all the inquiries, I will respond to e-mails and PM's as I get farther into the crawler.

Fenders are sold, thanks.
The engine is now available again, buyer decided to try and rebuild his own instead, so no longer wants it.

Do you happen to have a set of good fenders off of it or a 4 spool valve?

Randy,
Need to know 4 or 5 speed, and serial number. Shoot me an e-mail with the details and I will check.
