JD 350 CB FOR SALE, Feb. 25, 2013

Post by techcare » Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:37 am

I have a John Deere 350CB for sale, serial number tag reads:
350CB 302999. It is a good little machine and reads 404 hours on meter. I feel it is original. Everything appears original, including all hydraulic hoses. We purchased crawler from city of Columbia, MO. It was a municipal unit. It can be viewed here: www.americanshoreline.com Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Hi-

I was wondering if you could help clear up the model. You mention that the serial number data plate says it is a "350CB" which means it should be a 350B but the serial number (302999) indicates it would be a 1978 350C. I know the stickers say 350C but they look new so I tend not to go by them. If a 350C it should have "wet" steering clutches while a 350B could have hydraulic power assist but "dry" steering clutches.

Also it looks like it has a scarifier/ripper on the back- are there any shanks for it?

What is the asking price for this machine- could not find it on the link you provided.

Thank you.

I do not have shanks for the ripper. It has five slots. Also, I will take a picture of the seat area and post this on our American Shoreline website. (I must be computer illiterate because I do not know how to post a picture on this message board.) I will trade for about anything and/or the asking price is $11,500 OBO. I do not know what these are worth, I just know it is in very good condition.

It has two spool valves under the seat, each one is attached via linkage to each hand control lever. The spool valves are in a square housing with hydraulic lines running to it.

Extremely unlikely it is that low hour, especially if the tracks are that worn. Hour meters tend to quit, just the way it is.
