No rear pan, but I might have one. Gauges are junk, but trying to get new repro's made, should know more end of the month.
Blade is a complete excellent blade, will have to sell whole, sorry.

do you think the direction reverser is ok, i would need everything including linkage since this one never had one... can you send me a price on that and the sliding second and reverse gear if you have got access to the barn yet i dont think you would want to open that trans up for just that gear. mine is the 440ICD i asked you about a while ago... # 453316 scampr68@yahoo.com. I hate to imagine the shipping cost to NH  but so far no luck with anyone in Vt yet. Thanks lavoy

If only it were closer

Post by JWB Contracting » Wed Apr 03, 2013 8:11 pm

I have been looking for a 440 with a six way dozer. Distance isn't the deciding factor, I just purchased a fairly rare Deere wheel tractor and haven't even got it home yet. I better get some of my current projects completed before buying any more.

I'm also going to have to give my dad a hand with some of his projects. He's got 4 or more non-running MC's, a TD35 with a tight engine, Hough crawler loader with a bad engine, tranny in an MT plus a few other Deere tractors pulled down for rebuild. We need to get at them or part with them as they will spoil from sitting.

I'll post some before and after pics once we get going on them.

I have had a 420 sitting in the shed for 5 years or more that I wanted to do for myself, and not getting any closer on that one. Plus, got two 440's coming in for complete restorations this summer, and maybe more after that.
I have a late, late 440 gas in the shop now for mechanical work, but no cosmetics, that will be my user until I get more time, haha. Plus, thinking the money might be better spent on a loader to make my life a little easier, and the honeydo list a little shorter.
