What should I buy?? I need a pressure tester...
My 450c is strong pushing in first but, in second it is not pulling under a load even in low. Slips fairly easy. I want to buy a pressure tester and use it on my 1010 through 450c. Suggestions? I have read the tech manual on the adjustments for the reverser, and realise it could that or might be the main clutch. However, my equipment is two hours from my home in the city and I want to be prepared to do the tests when I get there.

Harbor Freight makes a cheaper pressure tester, goes to 150 I believe. Comes in a plastic case with a few extra fittings. At least then if you lose or wreck it, not out a lot of money.

Thanks Lavoy, I looked today at a few tool outlets and although I saw a collection of different pressure gauges, no kit for the purpose. I will check on line next to make sure I am asking for the correct tester. Thanks.
Willyr, I am not sure what you are trying to tell me. I used the bank of earth/tree stump to determine that it slips in gears past first. This dozer was not used for several years and perhaps it just needs a easy work out for a time just to get things loosened up. However, I am going to do the tests to be sure.

I found it online! It is a Transmission and Engine Oil test kit. Contains one gauge 0 to 100 psi and another 0 to 300psi. Has lots of fittings Standard and metric, and various tapered pipe threads. I can order it online.......
60 dollars a set.... from china...minimum order 100 sets. Anyone else need one?
I will keep looking in local shops for one kit.
I am guessing my 450c will be a tapered pipe thread between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. anyone know for sure?
Help appreciated

I would assume 1/8" NPT, but could be 1/4" as well.
KD Tools makes a lot of different testing equipment and automotive tools, check their website. Also check Ebay as much as I hate to say it.

Pressure tester for 450C
When I was having troubles with my 450 the former Coast tractor guy that troubleshot it used a hose from a grease gun with a 300 psi gauge on one end to do a fair bit of the testing.
