Someone rigged it up to mount on a three point hitch. Overall it dosen't look to be in bad shape. Gil

My concern is that they indicated that the valve stack needs to be rebuilt.

Last time I rebuilt one of these valves, parts were available from Deere (at a price). You can change the speed of a valve's action with different orifices. Biggest concern of course is the condition of the swing cylinder. No help there from Deere. Gil

It's too bad as I wouldn't mind have a slider hoe for my 2010 crawler. However the modifications to the mounting bracket as well as the unknown about the valve stack and rotary swing cylinder plus shipping make it a little too cost prohibitive for me.

In any case it is cool that you guys are keeping an eye out for these things and are posting them up. I am a frequent buyer on Purplewave but don't look real closely at their ag auctions so might have missed this one.

That slide function is real handy!

Picked up a 51 from little john on the site, one valve had blown out the casting, missing the bucket cylinder, and bucket was rusted away and tooth ripped off, took the whole stack apart and was able to braze the piece back, crossed all the parts for the stack rebuild from McMaster Carr even the plastic ball, found a cylinder off another Deere hoe that only needed smaller bushings, and rebuilt the bucket bottom and replaced/welded the tooth shank back, then realized the loader valve on my 1010 didn't have power beyond, lucky I found a 2010 valve and replaced it.

Slide function works great, dug up my foundation to repair leaky basement and with the hoe slid next to the house dug out less fill. Strong hoe

Haven't had to mess with the swing cylinder yet keeping fingers crossed, need to repair the boom cylinder bushing it is real loose, and that will be a job and some other fixes,

That is their final bid without their 10% buyer's fee and sales tax (probably 8% or so), so it was probably just over $2,100 when all said and done, excluding transport. I thought about bidding on it when it was closer to $1200 but thought better of it.

Tiger Actually that is their contract price, which includes the 10% surcharge. Not sure if that includes taxes or not. I bought my BobCat at one of their auctions nearly a year ago. I did have to pay to get it from Branson, MO to west Texas.
