a internet found crawler for sale question

Post by notmeu » Wed Feb 04, 2015 11:13 am

I found this "rare" crawler, not mine for sale though. It looks like a 4 bottom roller 40, but they say it is a MT. Did they mean to say MC maybe? The price looks good. I never heard of a MT.

Hi,

Yup. 40c four roller. The MC was only three roller. The MT was the tricycle variant on the M wheel tractor. The MT became the 40T and the M the 40S.

But, as a 4 roller Model M Tracked, it would be very Rare, indeed! Only one made! :P

Yet another case of the blind leading the blind, or in this case the stupid looking for the ignorant.... ;)

Needs left side steering. By 'restoration' they mean fix and/or rebuild everything else!!
