1010 fuel primer assembly

Post by millwrightcrawler7114 » Thu Mar 26, 2015 2:46 pm

I have just recently purchased a JD 1010 and it does not have the dash mounted fuel primer. I would like to add that feature. Any help with that in the way of parts and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board.

We have had a number of discussions about aftermarket priming solutions for the 2010 diesel crawlers; the 1010 diesels should be very similar.

This is a thread that captures most of the discussions if you look at the hyperlinks referenced:

Thanks for the input. The members of JDcrawlers always have great information. My search will continue, no doubt I will find what I need. :)

No, a fuel primer, it injects raw fuel into the intake manifold for cold weather starts.
Pretty sure I got mine from Aircraft Spruce, still get e-mails from them from time to time. It won't be like OEM, much smaller and cheaper, but works fine.
