Devcon for sprocket/final drive shaft repair

Post by a_man » Mon Aug 22, 2022 8:46 am

Howdy all, I have a crawler where the splines in between sprocket and final drive are worn and the threads that hold the sprocket nut on are shot.

This is actually a case 310c crawler, but my research on spline repair for crawlers led me here hope that is ok.

I wondered if the deere parts kit has any special directions or if I should just grab the 1 pound kit of plastic steel of amazon and go for it (Or should I spring for titanium?)

Got some pics of it in post 19 of this thread on HEF, will copy them over when I get home, but they are not showing up now.

Thanks a bunch --Andrew

I'm sorry I don't have anything to add but I went and read you thread over on HEF and man on man have you got a project. I wish all the best!

Maybe bumping will get Lavoy over here, he's actually used the stuff in question.
