OK, I'm finally being drug into the 21st century. Just started a Facebook page, no clue whatsoever what I'm doing, but never stopped me before. Page is Jdcrawlers.com, not sure why J had to be capitalized, but there it is. Any suggestions, let me know, in totally new territory for me.

I'll check it out Lavoy though I am not sure how much business I can drum up out your way. I would like to, you have been more than kind to me over the years I have been on here.
PS: I am on Facebook, but not a lot.

I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!

So far I hate it, but that stems mostly from ignorance. The kids will have to help me with the settings. Hoping to have a way to post pics faster so I can post pics of projects and new parts.

Facebook has the possibility of being really good for your business. It is a lot more fun than web sites because people follow it and comment much more often and the ease of putting up photos and links will be exciting. Downsides include that it is not very useful for archiving great information like this Messageboard. My business Facebook is very successful for the food business I own, look at Bulk Cheese Warehouse. If I can help in any way, send me a pm. I have had my page running for a few years and have thousands of followers, most are customers.

Went over to your Facebook page and you are well on the way ! Note that when searching on Facebook for you I did not find your page until I dropped the .com from the name. Just.... Jdcrawlers and you came right up.

Interesting, I wonder why?
The one thing I am finding so far is it is quicker to post pics because I can do it from my phone. I do however like the "archive" ability so to speak of the website vs. facebook.

I have a facebook account. I finally figured out that a social networking site is not the place for an anti social person such as myself.psprague wrote:I spent a year working for Facebook. I no longer have a 'page' there though. After deleting it, I noticed the sun shining, heard birds chirping and I definitely need to go mow the lawn
